A friend of mine came very close to doing this conversion to a new F-350 a few years ago. He and his wife have 4 kids, and travel all the time towing a giant travel trailer. Their Excursion was getting long in the tooth. He ended up getting a sleeper/half cap and putting the extra two kids in that instead.

I like simpler, pre-refresh grill too. Those cabs didn’t have much leg room though... unless you get the super, mega, maxi-crew cab like this one.
